我询问道路，不知路途遥远，
到了山前才感到疲惫。
透过半扇窗户，观赏着竹石；
倚靠一个枕头，聆听着松涛。
我也是个喜爱清幽的人，
煮着茶，诵读着《楚辞》。

Where does the recluse dwell?
The ancient temple towers high in white clouds.
I ask the way, unaware of the distance,
And feel the weariness only upon reaching the mountain.
Through half a window, I gaze at bamboo and rocks;
Upon a pillow, I listen to the roar of pines.
I too am one who loves serenity,
Brewing tea and reading the Songs of Chu.
