殿堂古旧,有飞鼠穿梭;
Master Zhi once dwelled here, his staff struck in this ground.
His rules still shape this ancient grove, where old traditions are found.
In timeworn halls, the flying squirrels now freely roam;
The sacred eels swim deep within the well's dark dome.
The sound of chimes drifts from beyond the bamboo's screen,
The pagoda's shadow lies upon the pond, serene.
How fortunate I am, to have a friend who knows my heart,
Who often comes to visit me, and shares in verse his art.
