His spirit shields the Wu in death's dark reign.
Though knowing his might would shake the world with awe,
He hastened the doom of his house, the fatal flaw.
Sun and moon strayed from heaven's proper way,
Heaven and earth bore the crimson mandate's sway.
In vain, for ages hence, men heave a sigh,
Lamenting that such earnest care could die.
