此去幽州，相隔三千里之遥；
我这行客当归的日期，应在六月之期。
窗边的枕席，怎能承受秋思的淡远？

We part in haste, each toward the world's far end;
At once I recall our meetings in your study, my friend.
Around the bed, books wake from spring sleep with the sun;
By a lone lamp, we talked through stormy nights, till night was done.
To Youzhou, three thousand miles from here I go;
This traveler should return when sixth moon's winds blow.
How can the window's pillow bear autumn's faint sorrow?
We'll brew tea and speak of longing, fine and thorough.
