秋夜漫漫，我自己无法察觉何时破晓，
百种昆虫一齐鸣叫，声音交织缠绕。
时节转换恰好促使它们如此，
就连蟋蟀鼓动翅膀也发出声响。
偷盗的老鼠争相喧闹，
蛇在暗处窸窣爬行，身影潜藏。
唯独东边人家的公鸡，
费尽心思，为分辨黑夜与天明而啼唱。

A hundred insects all at once their chorus make.
The season's change compels them thus to sound their call,
