我得以暂时经过外院的池边亭台。
在香炉中深深插上一炷香，登上赏月的高台，
独自在西边的栏杆角落，向嫦娥礼拜。

As evening falls, music and song fill the eastern hall,
I steal a moment's pass to the courtyard pool beyond.
With incense deeply lit, I climb the moon-viewing tower,
And bow to Chang'e there, by the western rail alone.
