周武王通达孝道，至善至美，
善于继承先王功业，善于传述先王德政。
在盟津与诸侯盟誓之后，
战争止息，兵器都收藏了起来。
他去拜访贤人箕子，
箕子便陈述了治国安邦的《洪范》大法。
君王因此建立了至高无上的准则，
并反复地、恳切地叮嘱，要谨守此道。

King Wu fulfilled filial piety, supreme and grand,
Succeeding well the past, expanding the father's land.
At Meng Ford, the solemn oath was sworn by all the lords,
Then shields and spears were stored away, sheathed were the swords.
He sought out Jizi, the wise man, to ask for the way,
Who then revealed the 'Great Plan' for a prosperous day.
The sovereign thus established the ultimate, central norm,
Repeatedly, with earnest care, to keep the state warm.
