残余的暑热能逃到哪里去呢？
就在这弯曲的岸边，北窗的北面。
砍去遮蔽的树木，开辟出一片清朗开阔的视野，
培育花草的芬芳，来守护这山林的幽静。
我把衣服挂在青翠的树枝上，
铺开竹席，稍作休息。
凉风吹过碧绿的湖水，
俯身看见游动的鱼儿在觅食。
我长久地怀念着杜甫的诗句，
诗中菱叶洁净得如同擦拭过一般。
有谁将与我一同品尝这新鲜的甘美？
要等到紫色的菱角长成方可采摘。

Where can the lingering summer heat be fled?
By the winding shore, north of the northern window's shade.
I clear the thickets to open a view serene,
And nurture fragrance to guard the quietude keen.
I hang my robe upon a verdant branch at rest,
And spread a mat to take a moment's breath, carefree.
Cool breezes pass over the emerald water's crest,
Looking down, I see the swimming fish feed leisurely.
Forever I cherish the verse of Shaoling old,
Where water chestnut leaves are clean as if wiped sheer.
Who will share with me the fresh sweetness yet untold?
When purple water caltrops ripen, we may pick here.
