与您的家世渊源由来已久，
惭愧我最初连百分之一都比不上。

Yet I dread how soon we'll part, leaving the flock behind.
True understanding needs no prior acquaintance to bring,
What I've gained now far surpasses all I'd heard in mind.
In recent times, fame shines from Lu and Luo's bright line,
In former days, the brush and ink of Yuan and Yun we find.
Our families' ties through generations have been spun,
I feel ashamed, for I possess not one percent of what they've done.
