白话文翻译
我将身心释放于这千仞高塔之巅，
向北眺望太行山的巍峨雄姿。
城中的房屋如同蚁冢般渺小，
在尘雾间若隐若现。
想到这些房屋中居住的人们，
不知又有几人能得享清闲。
鸡鸣时分便四散奔走，
直到日暮夜晚才相伴归还。
万物与众人皆依循各自的本性，
谁能被断然评判为贤明或愚顽？
卑贱的气质容易遭受欺凌，
而高贵的气度却难以企及攀援。
惭愧我的心境尚未达到平和统一，
只得低下头，勉强露出一丝笑意。

I set my body free atop this thousand-ren height,
Gazing north toward the Taihang Mountains' might.
Town dwellings appear like ant-hills, small and low,
Half-hidden in the dusty mist's ebb and flow.
Thinking of those who dwell within these walls,
I wonder how many live free from worldly thralls.
At cockcrow they scatter, each to their own way,
Only to return together at close of day.
Each thing and each man follows its own nature's call,
Who can be judged as wise or stubborn after all?
Lowly spirit is easily trampled and oppressed,
While noble bearing remains hard to access, at best.
Ashamed my own heart is not yet in harmony,
I bow my head, and force a smile reluctantly.
