柱石基石被湿气浸染，雨意已然酝酿形成，
轻盈的鸟雀在帘外隔帘鸣叫。
渐渐有凉爽的气息袭来，轻靠着我的枕头，
想象着到沧浪之水中去洗涤帽缨。
早已明白古往今来无所谓得失，
只需要做到物我两忘，互不迎送。
我莞尔一笑，呼唤坐骑准备归去，
姑且再挥毫泼墨，与友人戏谑一番。

The dampness on the pillar base foretells the coming rain,
Beyond the curtain, birds and sparrows chirp in playful flight.
A cooling breath creeps in and leans upon my pillow's plane,
I fancy washing my hat-strings in ocean waves so bright.
Now I perceive that gain and loss through ages are the same,
All that's required is that self and others not engage in strife.
With a sudden chuckle, I summon my steed to head for home,
And, just for fun, take up my brush to tease my friend in life.
