宁越地区的山水风光优美，
这里的西湖景色与杭州的西湖相似。
天竺桂的果实结得很多，
但潮水声却不及海门那样澎湃。
小路向着树林的顶端蜿蜒转折，
天空随着原野的景色向远方延展。
从此以后，在这里停泊栖居的人，
将不再有渡江远行的念头。

The hills and streams of Ningyue are fair,
Its West Lake mirrors Zhejiang's town.
Cassia seeds from Tianzhu fill the air,
Yet lacks the tide's sea-gate roaring sound.
The winding path turns where treetops sway,
The vast sky blends with fields' hue away.
Henceforth, those who here moor their boat,
Will lose all wish to cross the river's throat.
