In the riverside village, the roosters have not yet crowed.
Woods and huts lie distant and near,
The Milky Way stretches across, vast and clear.
My thoughts wander far to the remote mountain passes,

On the small bridge I pause awhile, halting my horse,
The flowing water carries a delightful sound.
