幕下清风十六州，德人胸次有天游。

mù xià qīng fēng shí liù zhōu， dé rén xiōng cì yǒu tiān yóu。

您的清风吹拂幕府所辖的十六州，

德者胸怀宽广，思绪可遨游于天际。

您偏爱以佳句招聚诗社的同好，

却不起争胜之心，不像那专注的弈秋。

我拙劣如用草绳土槌敲击土鼓，

您贤能似玉柄勺器映照着黄流。

苍茫云海急切地期待着我们相会，

不必再烦心抒写那仿效的《四愁诗》。

Beneath the tent, your pure breeze sweeps across the sixteen provinces;

A virtuous man's mind roams freely as the sky.

You often share fine lines to summon the poetry club,

Yet never stir a contentious heart, unlike the anxious chess player.

Clumsy, I beat an earthen drum with a straw-wrapped mallet,

While you, noble, hold a jade ladle that gleams 'gainst the yellow stream.

Vast and grey, the sea of clouds awaits our urgent rendezvous—

No need for tangled thoughts to mimic the "Four Sorrows" now.
