残冬的初阳巧妙地频繁变幻，
薄冰片片浮动，惊动了游鱼。
土牛没有给我这穷居带来温暖，
星鸟也不掌管隐退之士的春天。
门上的对联荒废，忘了题写梅柳诗句，
乡间的傩戏搁置，少了鼓鼙之声。
愁绪繁多而酒味淡薄，知道又能怎样？
只能叹息时光匆匆，草木又已新生。

The lingering winter's first light plays its tricks with frequent art,
On light, thin ice, piece by piece, stir the fish that dart.
The earthen ox brings no warmth to my poor, secluded abode,
The starry bird does not herald spring for the retired scholar's road.
Door couplets, forgotten, lack verses of plum and willow fair,
The village exorcism, set aside, misses the drum and armor's blare.
With many sorrows and shallow wine, what can I do, I sigh?
Alas, the fleeting year's grasses sprout anew, passing by.
