绕舍莳兰荪，褰帘对竹君。

rào shè shì lán sūn， qiān lián duì zhú jūn。

移床栖樾荫，脱屣护苔纹。

yí chuáng qī yuè yīn， tuō xǐ hù tái wén。

白话文翻译

在屋舍周围种植兰草和香荪，

掀开帘子，面对竹子这位君子。

将床榻移到树荫下栖息，

脱下木屐以保护青苔的纹路。

垂钓的影子映在潭中的月光里，

樵夫的歌声从山岭的云中飘出。

殷勤地舀起一瓢清水，

来佐食这井中的芹菜。

Around the house I plant fragrant orchids and thoroughwort,

Lifting the curtain, I face the bamboo gentleman.

Moving my bed beneath the shade of trees,

Taking off my shoes to protect the moss patterns.

The fishing line's shadow hangs in the deep pool's moonlight,

Woodcutter's songs emerge from clouds over the ridge.

With earnest care, a ladle of water,

To accompany this celery from the well.
