蓄水与泄洪独享其利。

Low-lying fields pity the waterlogged marsh,
Around the dikes, ridges rise like pheasant's crest.
In times of Yao and Tang, with flood or drought harsh,
Storing and draining water brought profit the best.
Mud, enriched by bushels, makes the soil fertile;
The threshing ground spurns a thousand gold's high cost.
What thing can replace the work of Heaven's will?
Praise this old farmer's wisdom, never to be lost.
