道人偶爱山水故,纵步不知湖岭深。
空岩已礼百千相,曹溪更欲瞻遗像。
要知水味孰冷暖,始信梦时非幻妄。
袖中忽出贝叶书,中有璧月缀星珠。
人间胜绝略已遍,匡庐南岭幷西湖。
西湖北望三千里,大隄冉冉横秋水。
诵师佳句说南屏,瘴云应逐秋风靡。
胡为只作十日欢,杖策复寻归路难。
留师笋蕨不足道,怅望荔子何时丹。

栖息的乌鸦又何必眷恋旧日的树林。
道人只因偶然喜爱山水,
信步漫游,不知湖水与山岭的幽深。
在空寂的岩洞中,已礼拜过千百尊佛像,
更想到曹溪去瞻仰六祖慧能的遗像。
要知道水味的冷暖,必须亲自品尝,
才相信梦境并非虚幻妄想。
袖中忽然取出一卷贝叶经书,
其中有如璧玉的明月点缀着星辰般的宝珠。
人间绝美的景致大致已游遍,
庐山、南岭以及西湖。
从西湖北望,三千里外,
长堤在秋水中缓缓绵延。
吟诵着禅师赞美南屏山的佳句,
瘴气之云应会被秋风吹散。
为何我们只作了十日的欢聚?
拄着拐杖,再寻归路却觉艰难。
用笋和蕨菜款留您实在不值一提,
惆怅地盼望,荔枝何时才能红艳?
White clouds emerge from mountains, free and without intent;
Why must the roosting crow cling to the woods it knew, content?
The Daoist, by chance, loves hills and streams, a passion true,
Striding freely, unaware how deep lakes or peaks ensue.
In empty caves, he's bowed to countless Buddha forms displayed,
To Cao Creek, he longs to see the Master's portrait laid.
To know if water's taste is warm or cold, one must partake,
Then trust the dream-state is not false, a mere illusion's fake.
Suddenly from his sleeve, a palm-leaf scripture he does bring,
Where moon like jade adorns the stars, a radiant string.
The world's supreme, surpassing scenes he's almost seen them all,
Mount Lu, South Ridge, and West Lake answer his ethereal call.
Northward from West Lake, gaze three thousand miles extends,
The long dike slowly spans the autumn water, as it wends.
Reciting your fine lines, of South Screen's charm you tell,
The miasmic clouds should flee, by autumn winds dispelled.
Why must our joy be brief, just ten days' fleeting span?
With staff in hand, the homeward path is hard to find again.
To keep you here with bamboo shoots and ferns is poor repast,
In longing, I gaze: when will the lychee's red be cast?
云鸟意象体现了对自由与归宿的认同探寻。
以云鸟为喻,抒发超然物外、随缘自适的禅意。
