它蜿蜒流淌而来，不知始于哪个朝代，
那奔腾的气势，一直持续到今天。
飞翔和潜游的生物都知晓这里是险要之地，
而人们忙于征逐名利，缺少一份闲适的心境。
向西望去，残存的山脉在远方显得渺茫，
向东流去，江水汇入深邃的大海。
我将携着秋夜皎洁的月色，
徐徐聆听那夜间蛟龙的吟啸。

From what age has it flowed, meandering and vast?
Its torrents surge and crash, from ancient times to now.
Fish and birds know its perils, where dangers are amassed.
Men chase and toil, their hearts devoid of leisure's vow.
To the west, broken mountains fade in misty view.
Eastward, its waters merge with the deep ocean's hue.
I'll take along the autumn moonlight, clear and bright,
And slowly listen to the night dragons' song in flight.
