余下的年岁尚不可预料，
多少次我曾在此系住小舟？

A single line of current by the sandy shore does flow.
No honor found in Yan Ziling's fishing line,
Only the straight hook of a Chu minister, so fine.
The rain's breath knows the joy of fish at play,

The years that yet remain cannot be foretold,
How many times at this bank shall my boat be hold?
