鹰隼的翅膀刚健，让人想起秋日的肃杀。
合上书本，为逝去的先贤感到悲伤；
眺望青山，回忆起往昔的游历。
闺中的相思与旅途的愁梦交织在一起；
万千思绪，萦绕在五更将晓的时分。

The morning glory climbs the bamboo, dim and vain.
Crickets' chirps, clearer than the water-clock's slow drip;
The hawk's strong wings recall the autumn's fervent grip.
Closing the book, I grieve for sages of the past;
Gazing at hills, I miss the travels that did last.
Thoughts of the boudoir mingle with the traveler's dream;
A hundred cares assail me as the fifth watch gleam.
