祭祀的牲畜被均匀地摆放，有猪也有羊。
那戴着高帽的沐猴（指项羽）还真以为自己是君王。
他正夸耀着案几上的祭肉（比喻霸业），
却不知帷幄之中筹划的计谋已然失败。
曾经的江山社稷，最终归于三尺坟土；
华服冠冕，一同埋葬在一座山丘之下。
路过的行人至今仍会指着说，
这山下就是当年那著名的鸿沟。

The sacrificial victims were evenly placed, the boar and sheep.
The lofty-capped ape truly thought itself a king.
Just as he boasted of the meat upon the platter,
Already his schemes within the tent had come to ruin.
Mountains and seas returned to but three feet of earth;

Passersby still point and say,
Beneath this hill lies the vast divide.
