西山静峙，东水奔流，仿佛心意要分离；
紫箫呼唤凤凰的声音隔着烟霭传来。
书信因多次回复，机缘却无素常的纹路；
梦境因频频被惊扰，峡中的云彩也枉费了。
羽帐枕着寒冷，清晨尚未转换；
玉楼中衣衫单薄，夜晚还熏着暖香。
琴上的乌鸟奏一曲，何曾聆听过；
七十只鸳鸯失去了旧日的群体。

Purple flute calls the phoenix through mist, heard apart.
Letters, oft replied, weave no pattern of fate;
Dreams, startled by the gorge, waste clouds in their freight.

Jade tower robes feel cold, night's incense still burned.
The lute's black bird sings a tune I've never heard;
Seventy mandarin ducks have lost their old herd.
