长久以来，我愧居这咨询谋划的职位，
新近蒙受恩典，被策令免去官职。
过去的过失令人后悔得咋舌，
未来的恩宠在梦中都让我惊魂不定。
病痛随着疑神疑鬼的疑虑消散而痊愈，
自身如同散落的无用树木般存活下来。
只剩下太阳的光芒依旧照耀，
终究不会妨碍我这孤独盆器的微光。

Long have I disgraced this place of counsel and care,
Newly have I received the grace of dismissal from office.
Past wrongs are enough to make one bite one's tongue in regret,
The coming favor startles my soul even in dreams.
Sickness departs as the suspicion of a bow in the grass is dispelled,
My body survives like a scattered, useless stump.
Only the sun's radiance remains,
Never hindering this lone pot's modest gleam.
