秋天气息飒然而至，一片肃杀。
溪水清澈，潦水已然残退，
林木稀疏，枝条兀自挺立。
寒蛩思念着长长的台阶，
归燕眷恋着华美的屋宇。
凋零的岁月从此开始，
思乡之情令我怀念起松菊的故园。

Clear and turbid, the cosmic forces realign,
Autumn's breath arrives with a stern and chilling sign.
Streams run clear, the floodwaters have receded and thinned,
Woods grow sparse, the branches stand tall and unbinned.
Cold crickets long for the lengthy steps with mournful sound,
Returning swallows yearn for the painted halls they found.
The fading year from this point onward takes its start,
My heart, homesick, recalls the pines and chrysanthemums apart.
