我倚着栏杆，从厅堂望向曲折的池塘；
微风轻拂，燕子在其中高低飞翔。
蕙草凋残，已感到铜盘透出寒意；
梅花飘落，仍烦扰于玉笛的吹奏。
忧心世事，只愁衣带日渐宽松；
在筵席上，只抱怨玉杯传递太慢。
羲和辛苦奔波，究竟有什么益处？
你竟不让太阳（金乌）栖息在旧日的枝头。

Leaning on the rail, I gaze from hall to winding pool;
A gentle breeze ripples, where swallows dip and swoop.
Orchids fade, I feel the bronze plate's growing chill;
Plum blossoms fall, still vexed by the jade flute's shrill.
Fretting over the world, I find my belt grows slack;
At the feast, I only mourn the wine cup's slow pace back.
Oh, Xihe, toiling hard, what good does it all bring?
You won't let the Golden Crow rest on its old bough's swing.
