翠色沉入远山的树林里，
红色在暮色笼罩的花丛中收敛了光艳。
织机梭声急促，虫鸣声急切，
如眉的月牙斜挂天边。
烦闷的心绪与燥热都已消散殆尽，
不必再等待用冰镇的嘉瓜来平息。

The tower's clamor, drums beaten in array.
Emerald sinks in distant ridge-top trees;
Crimson fades in dusk-thick groves of flowers gay.
The shuttle's haste, the insects' urgent sound;
The brow-like moon, its slanting light grows thin.
All vexing thoughts that burn the heart are bound;
No need to wait for melons cool to quell the heat within.
