令人快乐的事情即将随着日暮而消逝，
正当盛年，我却害怕过早地衰老。
翻倒的车子让壮士的迅捷化为乌有，
飘零的落叶引起长者深切的悲哀。
离别的燕子飞去，风中的帘幕一片寂静，
受惊的乌鸦栖息在月下的高树上，景象危殆。
即使播下最精良的种子，难道真会有用吗？
我的身体已极度消瘦，皮包骨头，支离破碎。

Joyful affairs are soon to fade with the evening light,
In my prime years, I fear the early onset of decline.
The cart overturns, the strong man's speed is brought to naught,
Like falling leaves, the aged man's sorrow is profound.
The parting swallows leave the wind-stirred curtains still,
Startled crows perch on moonlit trees, precarious and high.
To sow the finest seeds—could it be of any use?
When skin and bones are worn to the extreme, frail and thin.
