我不认识那些奔走于朝廷市集的俗客，
他们怎比得上逍遥江海的隐逸之人？
沉思着凭靠几案，
身子斜倚，纱巾轻垂。
尘世的烦扰事务没有尽头，
且在东窗下暂且放松心神。

The evening cool, fresh and rustling, arrives with ease.
I know not the men who bustle in court and town,
How do they compare with those by rivers and seas renowned?
Lost in thought, I lean on the lacquered table near,

The muddy world's affairs are endless, I confess,
By the east window, I let my spirit find rest.
