我平生就向往那睡梦之乡，
逃避暑热，那里最为优良。
口渴时喜爱煎茶发出的声响，
饥饿时闻到煮粥飘散的清香。
百年人生依托于白社的闲散，
一枕黄粱美梦便已熟透酣畅。
童仆懒惰，呼唤也难以动弹，
贪恋睡眠，直睡到夕阳西下时光。

All my life I've longed for the land of sleep,
To escape the summer heat, it's best to keep.
Thirsty, I love the sound of tea being brewed,
Hungry, I smell the porridge, fragrant and good.
A hundred years relying on the White Society's grace,
One pillow, and the dream of millet takes its place.
The lazy lad is hard to rouse from his deep rest,
Greedy for slumber, he sleeps till sunset in the west.
