月轮随着明月渐圆而增长，
香气追逐着桂枝飘然而还。
三五之夜即将来临，
它将分明地照亮竹门关。

A sliver of light now forms the crescent's soul,
Faintly seen where the setting sun begins to roll.
No one has drawn the six-fold curtain aside,
This single hook hangs in idle ease, wide.
Its arc will grow as the full moon's wheel draws near,
Its fragrance returns with cassia boughs so dear.
When the fifteenth night approaches, hand in hand,
It will shine distinctly on the bamboo gate's land.
