他每到一处就改变自己的姓名，
来来往往，时常长啸高歌。
孑然一身，没有赋税和劳役的负担，
几口人一同生活在烟波浩渺之间。
在江上的月光下垂钓，
停泊小舟，与沙洲上的云霭相伴。
但他或许会嫌弃渭水边的老翁，
年老之后，反而脱去了御寒的蓑衣。

Coming and going, singing with a long whistle.
Free from taxes and corvée, he lives alone,
With a few mouths to feed, sharing mist and waves.
He casts his line beneath the river moon,

Who in his later years shed his cold straw cloak.
