自从我成为山居之人后，
连梦境也感到安宁闲适。
我颇以为那乌龟深藏的单一甲壳，
完全胜过野兔狡诈的三个洞窟。
本性之中唯有唯一的真实，
身体之外再无多余的物欲。
形体衰亡便意味着自我的终结，
谁还会来询问我尸骨的埋处呢？

Since I became a dweller in the hills,
My dreams, too, find a tranquil, carefree ease.
I'd say the turtle's single, hidden shell
Surpasses all the hare's three burrowing holes.
Within my nature lies the one true core;
Beyond my body, there is nothing more.
When form decays, it shows the self's demise—
Who then would come to ask where my bones lie?
