粤自两仪分，溟波长诸水。

yuè zì liǎng yí fēn， míng bō zhǎng zhū shuǐ。

涵渟昭体量，沆瀁无涯涘。

白话文翻译

自从天地两仪分离形成宇宙以来，

这浩瀚的海洋就汇聚了众多水流，广阔无边。

它涵容沉静，昭示着其宏大的体量与气度，

它水势浩荡，望不见边际。

一眼望去只见一片深广融合的水域，

百川争相奔流，向它倾注输委。

在东方，它被称为太阳升起的扶桑之地，

在西方，或许被称作日落之处的蒙汜。

它沐浴太阳，辉映着明亮的光芒，

水天浮接，浑然一体，令人忘却何处是表何处是里。

神灵在此奠定居所，安定下来，

鳞甲介壳类生物也得以安然栖止。

海市蜃气幻化成楼台景象，

珍珠般的光华照耀着水中的小洲。

渔民和商贾依靠它、凭借它，

它提供的利益与用途哪有穷尽之时？

划动船桨可以通往遥远的四方异域，

乘着长风能够跨越超过万里的航程。

起初只见到它平静的表面景象，

渐渐才能领悟其中深奥的道理。

倘若能够寻访到蓬莱仙岛，

我定当追随赤松子那样的仙人而去。

Since the primal forces split, the cosmos came to be,

The vast ocean has gathered all waters, wide and free.

Its depth and stillness reveal its measure, profound and grand,

Its boundless expanse stretches beyond the sight of land.

A single glance takes in its vast, harmonious hue,

A hundred rivers vie to pour their tribute due.

To the east, it's hailed as the shore where the sun does rise,

To the west, some name it the edge where the daylight dies.

It bathes the sun, reflecting its radiant light,

Its surface merges with the sky, blurring day and night.

Divine spirits have settled here, their dwelling place secure,

Scaled and shelled creatures find their home, tranquil and pure.

Mirages form towers and terraces, a fleeting sight,

Pearl-like gleams shimmer upon the isles, radiant and bright.

Fishermen and merchants rely on its generous tide,

Its usefulness, for human ends, will never subside.

Paddling oars, one may reach all distant, foreign shores,

Riding winds, one sails beyond ten thousand leagues and more.

At first, one sees but the calm surface, flat and serene,

Gradually, the mind grasps the deep truths lying unseen.

If perchance the Isle of Immortals could be found,

I'd follow Master Red Pine to that sacred ground.

释文珦生平简介

释文珦，南宋诗僧，生卒年不详，籍贯临安（今浙江杭州）。他早年出家，遍历东南各地，晚年归隐于杭州。其诗作多见于《江湖集》，是南宋中后期江湖诗派的重要成员之一，诗风清苦，以描写自然山水和方外生活见长，在僧侣诗人中具有一定代表性。
