庭院前有两棵柏树，

青黑的树色高耸入云，古老苍劲，
坚贞的心志比石头还要坚硬。
木材足以用来制造舟船，
美名记载在《诗经》的《邶风》《鄘风》篇中。
在岁末晚景的冰霜严寒里，
清高的风姿独自茂盛盎然。

Once they entered the Patriarch's Zen thought.
Their dark hues pierce the sky, ancient and vast,
Their steadfast hearts, like stone, forever last.
Their timber fit for boats and oars to ply,
Their fame is sung in odes that never die.
In the late years, amidst frost and ice's reign,
Alone, their noble form stands clear and plain.
