我乘船前来，与众人一同祭拜。
当地乡人的习俗如今已然改变，
孝女曹娥昔日投江尽孝的事迹。
她的美名寄托于长江远传，
她的神魂归来，野庙却已空寂。
还留有那黄绢题字的痕迹，
零落地散落在断裂的石碑之中。

By boat I come, with others pay respects the same.
The locals' customs now have changed with ease,
The filial maiden drowned, of old, her claim to fame.
Her name entrusted to the long river's flow,

Scattered upon the broken stele, fragmentary.
