鞭策着跛足的马儿走下山顶，
深冬时节，寒意凛冽而骄横。
瀑布的风吹湿了我的帽檐，
杉树上的雪落在衣上便消融。
梅树稚嫩却早早开花，
梧桐衰败已无叶可凋零。
任何山峦都可以隐居，
不必用楚辞来招引归隐之心。

In deep winter, the chill air swells with pride.
The waterfall wind soaks my hat's edge,
The fir-tree snow melts on my coat and died.
The tender plum blooms early, flowers show,
The withered paulownia sheds no leaf to fall.
Any hill can be a hermit's place, I know,
No need for Chu songs to answer the call.
