在昔夸三喜，于今萃一门。

zài xī kuā sān xǐ， yú jīn cuì yī mén。

ㄗㄞˋ ㄒㄧㄎㄨㄚㄙㄢㄒㄧˇ，ㄩˊ ㄐㄧㄣㄘㄨㄟˋ ㄧㄇㄣˊ。

周还陪帝学，终始代王言。

zhōu huán péi dì xué， zhōng shǐ dài wáng yán。

ㄓㄡㄏㄨㄢˊ ㄆㄟˊ ㄉㄧˋ ㄒㄩㄝˊ，ㄓㄨㄥㄕˇ ㄉㄞˋ ㄨㄤˊ ㄧㄢˊ。

晋擢倾人望，规陈悉治原。

jìn zhuó qīng rén wàng， guī chén xī zhì yuán。

过去人们夸赞的三种喜事，

他周旋陪伴帝王研习学问，

自始至终代为传达君王的话语。

在晋地得到提拔，符合众人的殷切期望，

他规划的陈述都切中治理的根本。

那苍天茫茫，无处可以追问，

如此大才，正应调和天地元气。

In the past, three joys were praised,

Now they converge within one door.

Attending the emperor's studies, he moved in courtly rounds,

From start to end, he voiced the king's words.

Promoted in Jin, he met the people's high hopes,

His plans and proposals all touched governance's source.

The azure heavens—nowhere to ask,

Great talent, fit to tune the primal forces.
