无论是阴是晴都显得那么适宜。
还未及在岸边种下红蓼，
就先告知了白鸥我的打算。
云朵贴近水面，如同千点白斑，
月亮窥探屋檐，露出半圆形状。
归来的僧人敲响竹编的门户，
我只当是有人扣击船舷的声音。

Illusion shrinks the river and the sky,
Just right for shade or shine, as days go by.
Before I plant the red knotweed along the shore,
I first inform the white gulls of my plan.
Clouds dot the water, a thousand specks of white,
The moon peeps through the eaves, a half-round light.
A returning monk knocks on my bamboo door—
I take it for the sound of oars against the side.
