秋高气爽时禾黍果实饱满，
却不与越冬的宿根约定归期。

Especially when the wheat ripens in its place.
Foolishly, I toil to mend my clumsiness,
Ashamed to hold the post, yet idle in excess.
Looking up, I know Yin and Yang's gifts are full,
Bountiful harvest repays the thought of cake and gruel.
When autumn is high, millet and grain stand stout,
Not promised to the roots that weathered winter's drought.
