戍边的战鼓为何咚咚作响不停。
五月时节看不到青草生长，
大雨滂沱，融化的断冰随水流淌。
胡人子弟不明了地形的险要，
汉家骑兵肆意地侵凌践踏。
发出号令时，北风骤然刮起，
受降的沙垒瞬间崩塌瓦解。
楼烦部落已经归顺纳款，
天意彰显出威严与棱角。
归来时佩戴着封侯的印信，
喧哗的世间都称颂他的功名。

How the garrison drums incessantly throb!
In the fifth month, no green grass will grow,
Torrents melt the ice, causing streams to sob.
The Hu children, blind to terrain's command,
Han cavalry freely trample the land.

The surrender fort crumbles in sand's blight.
Loufan has already pledged its accord,
Heaven's intent shows its awe-striking sword.
Returning, adorned with a marquis's seal,
