女娲弄土飞尘埃,洛阳楼阁非愿力。
众生业影空崔嵬,苾刍心不在法道,鲜衣美食何为哉。

众生的业影巍然耸立,却本是空幻;
比丘的心若不在佛法正道,
鲜衣美食又有何用呢?

Good Bodhisattva, you come from among men.
Good Bodhisattva, you come from among sheep.
Nüwa played with clay, raising dust in the air,
Luoyang's towers and pavilions are not born of vow-power.
The karmic shadows of beings tower high, yet empty they stand;
If a monk's mind dwells not on the Dharma's way,
What use are fine clothes and sumptuous food, then?
Good Bodhisattva, you come from among men.
