如今祭奠无计，空自泪流。
浓云已遮蔽了鲲鹏的身影，
愁绪至极，唯见沧浪间一只白鸥。

Thinking of our old rambles by the twin springs, I'm moved anew,
On Willow River, I hear there's a returning boat in view.
Who can avoid making plans that span a thousand years' design?
Yet dreams shattered, all endeavors truly come to an end, a line.
Our instant bond, a friendship deep, no discord could untwine,
But offering grass in vain, my tears in emptiness now shine.
Heavy clouds have lost the roc's shadow, vast and undefined,
In sorrow, on the boundless waves, a lone white gull I find.
