可爱的太阳驱散了愁人的雾霭，
微微的和气消散了积聚的阴云。
窗外是超脱尘俗的趣味，
万竿翠竹怀抱着岁寒不凋之心。
士人应当崇尚清高的节操，
我将终老于这片故园山林。
抱着琴，姑且一醉方休，
何必再去寻觅知音。

A gentle warmth scatters the lingering gloom.
Beyond the window, a world free of dust,
Ten thousand bamboos hold a heart that defies the cold.
A scholar must uphold a noble, pure integrity,
I shall grow old in these familiar woods of mine.
Holding my lute, I'll drown my cares in wine,
What need is there to seek a soul who understands?
