但或许也不愧对这份心意。

At dawn, I sweep the pine needles clean,
And soon I dry them by the hearth, unseen.
From the well I draw water and rinse with care,
In a trice, the pot's fragrance fills the air.
Mother and son share a meal, content and mild,

Though no fine feast I can to her afford,
At least my conscience is in accord.
