从南屏山高处俯瞰杭州城西，
无数画船共同沉醉迷离。
四柱台边，烟霭如同帷幕，
百花桥畔，茭白与堤岸相连。
通往龙坛的道路蜿蜒，迎接御驾，
身着锦绣的人们登山，题写的诗句沾染了脂粉。
暮色沉沉，城郊的门户已经关闭，
宝灯辉煌照耀，梵天仿佛低垂。

From the southern screen, high above, I gaze west upon the city's seat,
Where painted boats, a thousand strong, share in drunken retreat.
Beside the terrace of four pillars, mist hangs like a curtain wide,
By the bridge of a hundred flowers, duckweed mats the riverside.
The dragon altar's winding path welcomes the falcon-carried lord,
On broidered silks climbing the hill, powder-smeared verses are stored.
Dusk descends, heavy and deep, the suburbs' gates are shut tight,
As precious lamps shine bright, and the Brahma heavens hang low in the night.
