茶叶确实是优良树木的精华，
它的香气乃是上天所培育。
它的芬芳无愧于杜蘅这样的香草，
它的清雅足以掩盖花椒与菊花。
尊贵的客人聚集在明亮的厅堂，
圆月仿佛在窥探着藏茶的匣盒。
从玉鼎中注入缓缓流动的泉水，
金制茶碾转动，声响在丈竹间回荡。
渐渐地，酝酿出醇美浓郁的香气，
如同新生的乳粟般柔和丰盈。
历经时日，这香气也不会消散停歇，
反而沾染在衣袖衣襟上，浓郁纷披。
有幸被用巾帕和竹箱珍藏起来，
却苦于被续入龙涎香或兰草之类。
但愿您能摒弃那些外来的杂类，
让我能保全自己全部的芬芳馥郁。

The tea leaf is the essence of a noble tree,
Its fragrance is nurtured by heaven's decree.
Its scent rivals the orchid, without disgrace,
Its purity can outshine pepper and chrysanthemum's grace.
Honored guests gather in the hall, bright as sunflowers,
The full moon peers into the case, as into secluded bowers.
From the jade tripod, a steady stream is poured,
The golden roller's sound echoes through the bamboo's cord.
Gradually, a fine aroma begins to rise and spread,
Like tender milk-grains, a delicate scent is bred.
Its lasting fragrance does not fade with time,
But clings to sleeves and robes, a perfume sublime.
Fortunate to be stored in boxes, wrapped with care,
Yet weary of being mixed with orchid, a burden hard to bear.
I wish you would cast away all that's alien and base,
So I may retain my full fragrance and grace.
