孔子曾被他所轻视，

舍弃器具，想要返归质朴，
其器量固然已经显得狭隘。
倘若能获得浑沌纯真的本性，
又怎会以面对机械之事为羞耻呢？

Vast and dim, he cultivates what lies within.
Confucius was by him held in light esteem,
Zi Gong found no words to counter him.
Abandoning tools to return to simplicity,
