紫色的花朵、青色的花蒂沉甸甸地压弯了繁茂的枝条，
秋天的果实累累，从高高的兰圃中结出。
东海的圆玉也比不上它碧绿的颜色，
嵰州的甜雪也难敌它清寒的滋味。
已担心仙人佩戴的珠串会因沉重而悬垂，
更恐怕金刀也难以切割这美玉般的果实。
既然它能像为司马相如解除消渴病那样为我解渴，
又何须用玉树的花蕊来充当早餐呢？

Purple blossoms, green stems weigh down the boughs in profusion,
Autumn fruits, dense and abundant, emerge from the lofty orchards.
The round jade of the Eastern Sea cannot match this jade-green hue,
The sweet snow of Mount Qin is no rival to its refreshing chill.
Already I worry the immortal's pendant, heavy with pearls, might break,
And fear even more the golden knife would find it hard to slice this jade.
Since it can quench Sima Xiangru's thirst and ease his wasting ailment,
Why would one need the jade stamens of fairy plants for morning meal?
