只安心与孩童老人一同嬉戏,
怎愿去同纷繁浮华相接触。
白日里手持一卷书,
兴致来时还要点起蜡烛继续读。
Contentment brings no disgrace, this is known.
Yet the ancients still feared disgrace as their own.
Just be at ease with children and the old at play,
Why should one with the gaudy world have a fray?
A scroll of book under the bright sun's ray,
When inspiration comes, I'll light the candle to read on.
